You can use Twitter’s Geo tagging feature and Microsoft Bing’s wonderful Maps application to find out Twitter users near you. This may not be of much help when you are at home or something, however imaging the possibilities when you are at a local event or a conference. You can quickly find out Twitter Users near you and start communicating. Awesome..!!
Here is how you do it
1. Select “United States” as the country from top right corner of Bing Maps. The Twitter Maps Application is currently available only for US Region.
2. Install “Twitter Maps” application for Bing Maps.
3. Now you can zoom in any preferred location on the maps using your mouse or just type the address. Click on the “Twitter Push Pins” and check out the underlying tweets.
